Venue Management & Facility Services Business Unit Manager
Pulse Services Group is seeking an experienced Venue Management & Facility Services Business Unit Manager to lead, develop, and scale venue operations and facility services across our portfolio. This is a senior role for a strategically minded operations leader who can build high-performing teams, optimize complex environments, and ensure safe, efficient, and premium venue performance while driving long-term operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Venue Operations & Strategy
Lead and oversee venue management and facility services across Pulse Services’ portfolio
Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance venue performance, safety, and guest experience
Ensure all venues operate in line with Pulse Services’ standards of excellence, efficiency, and brand positioning
Facility & Asset Management
Oversee building operations, maintenance, technical services, and infrastructure performance
Develop preventive maintenance programs and long-term asset management plans
Ensure venues meet all regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
Operational Excellence
Establish and continuously improve operational processes, service standards, and emergency procedures
Monitor service delivery, cleanliness, security, and technical readiness across all venues
Lead crisis management and operational response planning
Team Leadership
Build, manage, and inspire venue management, technical, and facility services teams
Define roles, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and support training and development
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Financial & Budget Management
Prepare and manage operational and capital expenditure budgets
Monitor costs, supplier performance, and operational KPIs
Negotiate contracts with service providers, technical vendors, and maintenance partners
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
Act as a key liaison between ownership, venue teams, event producers, and external service partners
Ensure smooth coordination between departments to support events, productions, and daily operations
Build strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
Performance Analysis & Optimization
Track operational performance, incident reports, and maintenance metrics
Produce management reports and strategic recommendations
Lead optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, sustainability, and service quality
Who you are:
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in venue management, facility management, operations leadership, or large-scale hospitality environments
Strong understanding of building systems, technical operations, safety, and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary operational teams
Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage complex, high-pressure operational environments
Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
